Owatrol Saturator for all types of Aquadecks wood

OWATROL AQUADECKS A water-based acrylic-alkyd saturator that gives a matt finish with a well-working top coat. Recommended for all types of wood as well as for exotic wood. The use of AQUADECKS reduces the effects of wood deterioration caused by moisture and sunlight, and also inhibits shrinkage processes and reduces the susceptibility to cracking. We can apply to all vertical and horizontal wooden places. Thanks to the penetration processes, it prolongs the protection of the wood. Additionally, it is an environmentally safe measure.

The product is recommended, among others, for wood:

• hard grades: Mahogany, Teak, Ipe
• soft species: Spruce, Pine, Cedar, as well as pressure impregnated wood
• for thermo - wood

ATTENTION !

• Use without dilution
• We use the agent ONLY on live wood, free from paints and coatings, devoid of any surface layers, and for thorough preparation, you can sand with 80 grit paper
• It is important that all destinations as well as all material are clean and degreased.
• Remove mould and mildew foci, e.g. with a 50/50 bleach solution. Rub with a brush, and after 15 minutes. rinse thoroughly with water. Then we leave it to dry for 2-3 days, so that the wood humidity is up to 18%
• Cover all the elements and places that are not going to be painted.
• Do not apply in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces - the temperature range is 10 ° C - 30 ° C
• Before painting, READ the weather on working days and the following ones - temperature below 100C and high humidity and rainfall
• We do not finish painting in the middle of the planned surface
• The direction of painting vertical surfaces - from bottom to top
• When painting with the WET ON WET method, we do not allow drying out between the layers
• When using the aggregate by spraying AQUADECKS agent - for better penetration, massage with a roller

HOW TO USE:

• New, living wood: we remove the glaze chemically using AQUANETT and neutralizing it with NET-TROL or sand it mechanically or manually with 80 paper. We can check the readiness of the wood by sprinkling with water - if it penetrates quickly - we can apply AQUADECKS
• Untreated wood, seasoned: when the seasonality of the wood is over 6 months - thoroughly clean with the NET-TROL agent
• Oiled wood: remove oil layers with AQUANETT and neutralize with NET-TROL
• Stains, varnishes and paint layers: remove with DILUNETT and neutralize with NET-TROL
• TANINES occurring in hard wood may cause darkening after using AQUANETT or DILUNETT - to regain the natural colour of the wood, use NET-TROL neutralization, then rinse with plenty of water.
• Before starting the application, mix the agent very well, and stir the preparation from time to time during work
• Using the wet on wet technique, we apply 2 layers, the first of which is applied thickly for thorough soaking
• Apply the next layer up to 15-20 minutes and wait for it to completely penetrate the wood
• The third layer is recommended if the application site is porous
• The total painting time of the applied AQUADECKS batch is 20 minutes, so that no coating is formed on the painted surface
• TEMPERATURE: Use in the range of + 10 ° C to + 30 ° C.

COVERAGE: theoretical is 5 m2 / l for two layers; for maintenance it is from 10-12 m2 / l. Practical consumption depends mainly on the type of surface and its condition as well as the technique of work
